Our feature game of the week that doesn’t feature UCF, is #11 Texas at #3 Alabama. Next year, it’s an SEC game. This year, Texas flys in under the Big 12 banner. Both teams won their season opening warm up and now face their first real test of the 23 campaign. Last year, Bama eeked out a 20-19 win over the Horns behind Bryce Young’s scrambling that got the Crimson Tide in FG range to deliver the victory. Texas dominated early on behind QB Quinn Ewers before he left with a shoulder injury and he is back under center again for the Longhorns who have a top flight receiving core. Jalen Milroe was impressive in his debut for the Tide last week accounting for 5 TDs against Middle Tennessee. This one is opposite the UCF game at 7:00 on ESPN.
