Our spotlight game of the week is a Top 25 match up as #24 Kansas takes on #3 Texas. The Jayhawks bring a 4-0 record into the contest coming off a 38-27 win over BYU in their conference opener as Jalon Daniels tossed 3 TD passes and the Kansas defense posted two touchdowns with a fumble return for a score and a pick six. Texas lifted their record to 4-0 as they easily dismantled this weeks Knights opponent, Baylor, by a 38-6 score. The Longhorns have defense as their calling card having just allowed 50 points so far this season. QB Quinn Ewers has been slinging it having 11 completions of 30 yards or more this season, besting the 10 he had all of last season. This battle of unbeatens is Saturday at 3:30 on ABC.
Elsewhere on the Big 12 Schedule:
Friday Night at 10:15, Cincinnati is at BYU on ESPN
On Saturday:
Texas Tech hosts Houston at 3:30 on FS2
Iowa State is at #14 Oklahoma, 7:00 on FS1
West Virginia visits TCU, 8:00 on ESPN2
And in case you haven’t heard, the Bounce House will be rocking as the Knights host their first ever Big 12 game. It’s another FS1 remote broadcast game at 3:30 where you are better off watching on mute or syncing up the radio broadcast. I like Knights to take the victory, 31-14.
