The UCF Knights’ Double-Overtime win over No. 2 BYU on Fox last Saturday was the Knights’ 4th-most-watched regular-season telecast game of all time, with 4.743 million viewers, according to Fox PR. It is the most-watched Knights game since the 2019 Fiesta Bowl against LSU (8.4 million).

It is also the largest regular-season TV audience for a football telecast involving UCF all time, edging out the previous record: the 2017 Black Friday South Florida game (4.7 million). It is the most-watched Knights telecast as a member of the Big 12, passing the 2024 game against Colorado (4.1 million).

The game peaked at 10 million viewers during the 2nd OT, which bled into coverage of MLB World Series Game 2 between the Tampa Bay and Milwaukee Brewers.

It was the 4th most-watched college football telecast of the day.
