#10 Iowa State which is unbeaten and tied for first in conference and Arizona State have the bye this week
#11 BYU is at UCF trying to remain unbeaten on the season and move into sole possession of first place by a half game in the Big 12. The Cougars had to rally with a late TD to beat Oklahoma State 38-35 in the final minute last week while the Knights losing streak is now at 4 games. Clearly these teams are going in opposite directions which could make this game ripe for an upset if BYU looks ahead to it’s rivalry game with Utah next week.
The players of the week were Baylor QB Sawyer Robertson on offensive who had a career high 5 passing TDs against Texas Tech, Cobee Bryant of Kansas on defense who tied Jayhawk record with 3 picks against Houston and Colorado kicker Alejandro Mata on special teams who tallied 10 points by going 2-2 on FGs and hitting all four extra points against Arizona.
