UCF and Texas Tech pulling upsets last week added some intrigue to the conference championship game race. However, the 23rd ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys, despite being routed by the Knights, hold the number 2 slot with a 5-2 mark, while 7th ranked Texas still holds the top slot at 6-1.
Texas draws 5-2 Iowa State this week. That will be a Saturday night kick at 8 on FOX. Oklahoma State will square off with Houston. That will be on ESPN2 at 4 o’clock.
14th ranked Oklahoma at 5-2 visits BYU. Catch that one at 12 Noon on ESPN. With the game in Provo, it’s a 10am start Mountain time. The remaining 5-2 team in the mix, 21st ranked Kansas State faces in-state rival #25 Kansas at 7:00 on FS1.
The rest of the slate has Cincinnati at West Virginia, 2:30 on ESPN+
TCU is at Baylor, 3:30 on ESPN+
And rounding out the schedule. UCF travels to Lubbock to take on Texas Tech with the odd 5:00 start time on FS2. Both teams could face potential letdowns after their upset wins last week. I think the Knights keep their momentum enroute to a third straight win and bowl eligibility
