The Knights will feature 30 new players in 2026

By: Nick Williams

Even if it’s just a couple of nuggets of new information on UCF Football’s team, fans have to soak it up. Head Coach Scott Frost and General Manager Trent Mossbrucker were available for media on Thursday afternoon, and they gave us insight into what this new transfer portal class brings to the table, what contracts look like at UCF, and how a player’s character is one of their most sought-after traits. The Knights will have 30+ new players, highlighted by quarterback Alonza Barnett III. Clearly, these developments shape the future for UCF Football.

With the spring camp schedule still not finalized, this update will likely be the last fans receive until the players put the pads back on sometime in March. Additionally, everyone is eager to see how UCF Football will perform with so many new faces. Ultimately, the Knights and UCF Football community remain excited for the upcoming season.
